Kill Congressional Retirement - put them on Social Security - just like us!

Kill Congressional Retirement - put them on Social Security - just like
us!
Actually, I would rather that they-(CONgress) cease enforcing a non-law, and
release all of us from the ponsy scheme known as Social Security -- in truth, it
should be called "socialist security." Doing away with the welfare nature of
SSI will also bring an end to the free ride that many immigrants now enjoy by
just moving to America. And while we're at it, let us rid our land of both
individual and corporate welfare, as well.
Otherwise, I suggest-at the very least, that honor be reinstituted, especially
if the nobility of the redistribution of wealth is such a moral act, and if
"they" can impress America to the point that they can hold a Constitutional
Convention without rebellion and make a government where the theft of one's
earnings is actually authorized.
So, if not, then leave me with my property, that is to say my labor-and the
compensation from which I earn my living, and I will see that charities-MY
charities, are properly funded.
It is always a good idea to bring down those that build themselves up to be
"better-than-thou," but in this instance we should be following their lead.
Here is the truth. I don't want to "volunteer" any portion of my wage to this
or any scam, so I manage to convince my boss that he should stop steeling from
my paycheck. So, he does. The IRS, or any number of alphabet boys
come-a-knocking at his door. He stands stalwart in our being correct. Next,
men with guns-willing to use said guns, come and confiscate our personal
property. The irony is that those men with guns-like their handlers (CONgress)
are ALSO not being bilked out of their money via the socialist security agency.
As a cop, as a son of a cop, and best friend to a shit load of cops, I can say
with empirical knowledge that we have nothing for SSI/FICA removed from our pay.
But John Q. Public, ... HE MUST PAY!
WHY?!
Ignorance, apathy, despicable malevolence, ... and I could go on.
The only way America is going to return to her greatness is if We-the people,
unite in a true understanding of what law is, American law, and unhinge the
political ongoings that have taken place since at least the War of Federal
Aggression, you may know this war as the Civil War.
Sorry for the rant, but it has been awhile.
Jerry
PS: Graham, I was going to send this response to all that you had addressed, but
I had realized your Cc. is different, so if you feel it necessary, please feel
free to forward my response.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is Bohemian Grove's pick for California governor

BEHIND THE COUNT: All eyes will be on the California secretary of state's office
today for the big recall count -- but the real plays are going well behind the
scenes.
The biggest question, of course, is whether Arnold Schwarzenegger -- who just
got back from a European promo tour -- will make this the biggest story of the
year by jumping into the fray.
And now that the clock is ticking, the time for playing cute is rapidly coming
to an end.
"Everything is set up to go if he says 'yes,' but it's do-it-or-get-off-the- pot
time," admitted one source close to the Terminator. "My expectation is that he's
talking it over with his wife right now."
One of the keys in all this will be the final round of words between
Schwarzenegger and former Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan -- who is being
urged to run by more liberal Republicans.
"The bottom line," our source told us, "is if Arnold goes, Dick won't. If Arnold
doesn't do it, then it's highly likely Dick will -- it's between the two of them
to hash out."
From what we've hear, the Republican hierarchy -- especially those close to
former Gov. Pete Wilson -- would favor Schwarzenegger. At least that's the word
that came out of the Bohemian Grove this past weekend, where a number of state
and national GOPers, including presidential adviser Karl Rove, happened to have
gathered at a club getaway.
None of this would be good news for Gov. Gray Davis -- who hopes his opponents
will be limited to conservatives like Bill Simon or San Diego-area Rep. Darrell
Issa.
"There's no question Riordan would be the biggest problem of them all," said one
Davis operative. "He's the most liberal, he has a strong name ID in Southern
California and you can't pin him as a right-winger -- which is the whole key to
the Davis strategy."
