1. U. N. TARGETS LOCAL CHURCHES FOR ERADICATION

1.1. After many months of researching and analyzing dozens of United Nations
documents and plans consisting of thousands of pages, we can now expose and
document the U. N. plan to eradicate the local church (by whatever name).

1.2. This thesis is not an attempt to engage the reader in a theological or
ecclesiastical debate on the future of "The Church." This thesis addresses the
physical, local church to the extent possible. We recognize that God, not man,
controls the destiny of "The Church" as opposed to the physical local church.
There is a vast difference and we will not go there at this time.

1.3. NO… You will not find the words, "eradication of the local church" in any
single U. N. document. As a matter of fact you will not find any clear and
direct reference to the "eradication" of the local church in any UN document,
that we have analyzed.

1.4. NO.... You will not suddenly see "CLOSED" signs posted on the front door of
all the local churches across America. The proponents of the Totalitarian One
World Government under the United Nations are much too clever to expose the four
Aces they hold close to their chest in this game of life or death. Can you even
begin to imagine the massive uprising that would occur should Christians go
their respective places of worship next Sunday morning only to find a "CLOSED"
sign nailed to the front door. It was "this" realization that opened the door of
logic that lead us down the path of discovery to the means and methods the
United Nations is employing in order to accomplish the eventual eradication of
the local church.

1.5. Before a One-World Religion can be imposed on America (and the rest of the
world) the opposition and competition presented by the local church must be
eradicated. The U. N. strategy calls for this to be accomplished slowly and
surely, without fanfare or publicity. Given that strategy, it's very easy for
the United Nations, through the US government, to simply "REGULATE" all
opposition and competition out of business, using the means and methods already
in place, and the general populace will be none the wiser. This strategy is
already being applied.

1.6. The plan to eradicate the local church, is very much like a giant picture
puzzle, with each piece cleverly secreted within a myriad of documents, most of
which the average American has never even heard of, much less read. To further
complicate the "harvesting" of all the related information addressing this
objective, the formulation of many pieces of the puzzle was farmed out to
organizations not formally a part of the basic U. N. structure. These
organizations are, for the most part, referred to as None Government
Organizations or NGOs that enjoy an advisory relationship with the United
Nations.

1.7. Now ... you ask, how did we (TCAN) go about locating and documenting this
particular United Nations plan and strategy? In order to answer that question
and justify your confidence in our work, the following background information is
offered.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2. Important Background Information

2.1. The Christian Alert Network (TCAN) is a "full time" Texas registered,
non-profit, information research and analysis organization. Our "primary
mission" is to support some 5,000 plus local church pastors (all denominations)
all across America, in the area of Information Research and Analysis. We do the
kind of pick and shovel research work that most local church Pastors don't have
the time nor means to do, without taking away from their very demanding pastoral
duties, and we certainly don't want them to do that. Our "primary mission" is
very demanding and time consuming, our responsibility is quite heavy and "we"
don't take that mission and responsibility lightly. We also support and exchange
information with some 185 other organizations of like mind and values.
Additionally, and strictly on a time available basis, we also share the results
of our efforts, in the form of TCAN Alerts, with 10's of thousands of "other"
individuals.

2.2. Because we (TCAN) are a "professional organization" with high standards, we
do not simply forward to our participants, copies of articles or other
information sent to us by individuals who we are not personally acquainted with,
or from sources that we have not tested and proven. Sending idle comments or
forwarding emails IS NOT a part time, or simple pass-time, distraction for our
Research Analyst, as it is with the vast majority of those who flood our inbox
with useless information in which we have no interest or need of, and cannot
use.

2.3. The reason for this bit of background can be explained by the following
analogy. Assume that your medical advisor informs you that your very life is
threatened by imminent heart failure, and a heart transplant presents your best
chance for a longer life. Given that situation, I feel very comfortable in
assuming that surely "you" would want to know something about the surgeons
background, training and success rate BEFORE you place your life in his hands.

2.4. Given that simple analogy and the seriousness of the information that we
deal with here at TCAN, I also feel very comfortable in assuming that you should
have confidence in our work based on our background, training and success, as
relates to the information that we make available to you. For that reason,
please read the following brief bio that governs our mission and functions here
at TCAN

2.5. Beginning in early 1960, this writer was subjected to some lengthy, highly
classified and technical training, most of which was conducted at the US Naval
Security Station in Washington D.C. At that time I already had some 10 years
experience, beginning on 22 May 1950, in operating, wiring and programming an
endless array of IBM punch card equipment and several early administrative type
computers. It was this 10 years of highly successful experience in "operating"
the information processing equipment noted above, that opened the door for me to
get involved in some advanced training at the Navel Security Station (NSS) in
Washington D.C.

2.6. This advance training involved not only the processing of information, but
was expanded to include the "identification" of the information to be collected,
the "collection," the "processing," the "analysis," and the "formulation of
conclusions" resulting from the identification, collection, processing and
analysis functions. This advanced training was many months in duration and upon
successful completion of this training, this writer was then assigned as the
"first" technically trained and qualified Information Systems Analyst (ISA), on
President John F. Kennedy's personal Battle Staff. I served in that position
until President Kennedy's assignation and then served on President Johnson's
personal Battle Staff until May 1964 at which time I was reassigned to
Headquarters United States Army Europe, as Chief of Data Processing Plans and
Procedures, for all of the US Army in Europe.

2.7. The point of the above background information is to define the context
within which we (TCAN) operate and the research and analysis process that
supports our writings and publications. For example, one of the several very
fine and highly qualified instructors that guided this writer through the
technical training noted above was Mr. W. Cleon Skousen. At that time Mr.
Skousen had been Chief of the FBI team responsible for monitoring and
investigating the communist agenda and activities in America for some 15 years
or more. Mr. Skousen was a major contributor to one very special Department of
Defense Training Manual that we used in our technical training, "Two Ways of
Life, The Communist Challenge to Democracy" (DoD GEN-9, DA Pam 360-510, NAVPERS
15204 and AFP 190-1-1-18). I am very fortunate to still have my own personal
copy of that training manual. While that manual is now 40 years old, it is still
very applicable to the current world situation. It serves to guide our (TCAN)
information research and analysis functions and I often refer to and quote from
it, in our writings.

2.8. Before we actually get into analyzing and quoting from high level U. N.
documents, I would like to point out several aspects pertaining to the analysis
of so called "high level" documents.

2.9. First, the reader must be aware of the fact if such a document does not
contain a list of "definition of terms" as they apply to the particular
subject(s) being addressed, it is safe to assume that, for example, the term
"property" is all inclusive and no provisions have been allowed for exceptions.
That happens to be the case in most of the U. N. documents that we will refer to
in this thesis. The U. N. considers land to be property and have allowed for NO
EXCEPTIONS and therefore that fact alone brings all of the local church lands,
buildings and other properties under U. N. control.

2.10. Secondly, and perhaps most importantly, in many cases what is NOT said, in
a particular document addressing a particular subject, can be just as important
if not more important as what is said. I realize that is a little tricky to
understand so please think on that statement for a few moments.

2.11. Thirdly, the reader must keep in mind that the United Nations concept of a
One-World Government must, of necessity, be totalitarian in nature and therefore
assumes all the characteristics of totalitarianism.

2.12. For example;
a.. "In the totalitarian way of life, there are no 'inalienable rights' of man
which the state is not allowed to touch. Totalitarianism wants all of man, his
body and soul, and there is no human activity - political, economic, social,
religious, or educational - that is allowed to escape government control. In
addition to not recognizing any limits to its goals, it recognizes no limits to
the means it is prepared to use to attain them: Propaganda, imprisonment,
terror, slave labor, brainwashing, and even the destruction of entire nations
(genocide)." (Source: Introduction page 3, par 3, Department of Defense training
manual: "Two Ways of Life, The Communist Challenge to Democracy" (Department of
Defense DEN-9) (Department of the Army Pamphlet 360-510) (Naval Personnel 15204)
(Air Force Publication 190-1-1)
2.13. The following statement clearly presents the United Nations communistic
philosophy regarding the local church as it presently exists. The statement also
defines the ultimate objective of the United Nations in its quest to establish a
One-World Religion to the exclusion of all others.
a.. "Communist regimes assume that if people are not permitted to receive
religious instruction or even hear views that are favorable to religion, and if
only a few churches are allowed, then the ceaseless anti-religious propaganda of
government and party in the school, factory, and press will eventually eliminate
religion as a living force -----." (Source: page 164 "Two Ways of Life, The
Communist Challenge to Democracy" DoD GEN-9, DA Pam 360-510, NAVPERS 15204 and
AFP 190-1-1-18).
2.14. Before we can begin to identify those active and planned U. N. actions to
sorely limit the number of local churches allowed and the characteristics of the
few that will be allowed to remain, there are several things that the earnest
researcher must keep in mind.

2.15. First. From this point forward the term church (lower case) refers to the
"physical" local church unless otherwise stated.

2.16. Second. To fully identify and define the United Nations plan of attack,
the U. N. communistic philosophy regarding the local church must be applied to
each physical element of the church.

2.17. Third. For the purposes of this thesis, the local church is defined in
terms of its physical elements that are subject to totalitarian control, as
follows.
a.. Church Property (land and structures)
b.. Church Location
c.. Church Doctrine (message)
d.. Church Activities
e.. Church Membership (people)
2.18. Fourth. Given the fact that "only a few churches are allowed" as noted
above, let us quickly identify and set aside these "few churches." How do we
identify these "few churches?" and what is the relationship of these "few
churches" to the United Nations? Who are these "few churches?"

2.19. The reader will find the answer to all three questions in one single U. N.
objective.
a.. "Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with social
religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity
which does not need a religious crutch." (Source: Communist goal # 27, as
recorded on Appendix pages A34 and A45 of the US Congressional Record dated
January 10, 1963)
2.20. Simply and plainly stated, those "so called" churches that abandon
"revealed religion" for "social religion" will be allowed to continue to
function under close U. N. scrutiny and supervision. If the reader will take a
close look at the so called "religious philosophy" espoused by those who
sponsored the U. N. Millennium World Peace Summit of Religious and Spiritual
Leaders, August 28 - 31, 2000 at the U. N. Headquarters in New York, you will
find that philosophy totally void of any "Christian" basis. For example, the
prime sponsor of that assembly is the "Temple of Understanding" which was
founded upon the Gaia hypothesis, the pagan worship of "mother earth." The
reader will please note that this "worship of mother earth" thread, will be
found woven throughout the vast majority of all U. N. documents and plans. In
summary, all those so called churches that will be "allowed" must conform to the
Gaia hypothesis and not basic Christian doctrine.

2.21. That brings us to the question; if only those churches that conform to the
Gaia hypothesis are allowed under the U. N. totalitarian form of government,
then how do we dispose of those churches that do not conform. The answer is
really very simple ... using legislation already in place and enforceable, you
simply regulate them out of business, one at a time, without fanfare and in most
cases without the knowledge of the general public.

2.22. Given that objective and procedure, let's take a look at certain specific
provisions contained in the several U. N. documents and plans, that directly
target the various "physical elements" of the local church, as noted above. As
we examine each of these specific provisions, we will also include actual
current case histories that support our analysis and conclusions.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3. Church Property

3.1. First let us consider the element of church private property (land and
structures).

3.2. To fully understand and appreciate where the U. N. communistic philosophy
pertaining to private property ownership is leading to, it is absolutely
necessary to have at least some knowledge of where that philosophy comes from.

3.3. In 1845 Karl Marx, the founder of modern communism, was expelled from
France as a result of pressure by the Prussian government. He then went to
Brussels and there, with the aid of Friedrich Engels, he wrote the "Communist
Manifesto." A careful examination of the Communist Manifesto as written by Marx
and Engels reveals 10 primary "planks" or principles.Plank # 1 calls for the:
a.. "Abolition of private property and the application of all rent to public
purpose." (Source: Communist Manifesto).
3.4. The communist objective of converting all private property to government
ownership and control is further amplified in a U.S. government document as
follows:
a.. "Both communism and democracy accept the fact that the economy is an
important center of social power. But free societies believe in a free economy -
that is, one in which most decisions affecting production and consumption are
made by private individuals rather than by an all-powerful state. By contrast,
the Communist approach to economics is to concentrate all ownership, control and
management of property in the hands of a totalitarian state. Such economic power
tremendously increases the internal authority of a political system that has no
constitution or political restraints upon it in the first place." (Source: US
Department of Defense Training Manual (DoD GEN-9) "Two Ways of Life: The
Communist Challenge to Democracy, page 332, paragraph 3)
3.5. Given the fact that the U. N. concept of a One World Government is
totalitarian in nature, it is not surprising to find that the land policy of the
United Nations was first officially articulated at the United Nations Conference
on Human Settlements (Habitat I), held in Vancouver, May 31 - June 11, 1976.
Agenda Item 10 of the Conference Report sets forth the UN's official policy on
land.

3.6. The Preamble states:
a.. "Land...cannot be treated as an ordinary asset, controlled by individuals
and subject to the pressures and inefficiencies of the market. Private land
ownership is also a principal instrument of accumulation and concentration of
wealth and therefore contributes to social injustice; if unchecked, it may
become a major obstacle in the planning and implementation of development
schemes. The provision of decent dwellings and healthy conditions for the people
can only be achieved if land is used in the interests of society as a whole.
Public control of land use is therefore indispensable...."
3.7. The Preamble is followed by nine pages of specific policy recommendations
endorsed by the participating nations, including the United States. The vast
majority of these recommendations pursue the concept of the government
"acquiring" ownership of private property through the enforcement of
progressively restricting zoning laws, property taxes and other means.

3.8. For example: Recommendation D.3 reads as follows:
a.. "(a) Excessive profits resulting from the increase in land value due to
development and change in use are one of the principal causes of the
concentration of wealth in private hands. Taxation should not be seen only as a
source of revenue for the community but also as a powerful tool to encourage
development of desirable locations, to exercise a controlling effect on the land
market and to redistribute to the public at large the benefits of the unearned
increase in land values."
b.. "(b) The unearned increment resulting from the rise in land values
resulting from change in use of land, from public investment or decision or due
to the general growth of the community must be subject to appropriate recapture
by public bodies. "
3.9. Side Note: While this may not necessarily apply to control of the local
church, the reader should be aware of the fact that one of the objectives of the
United Nations is to "redistribute" the wealth of the world. In other words,
take from those who have worked hard and invested smart and amassed more than
they need to live on a day to day basis, and redistribute the excess to those
that have less, for whatever reason. According to U. N. Recommendation D.3 as
quoted above any profit one might realize, as the result of buying a piece of
property for $100.00 and selling it for $200.00, the $100.00 profit "must be
subject to appropriate recapture by public bodies."

3.10. Many pages could be written about the above concepts and planned U. N.
procedures, but I think the reader gets the idea of how the U. N. plans to
control the physical local church. Following are but a few of many examples of
how this is already being accomplished.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

4. GOVERNMENT REGULATES CHURCH OUT OF BUSINESS.

4.1. CASE IN POINT # 1: Temple Baptist Church of Indianapolis Indiana.

4.1.1. A confrontation is shaping up in Indianapolis as Temple Baptist Church of
Indianapolis prepares to defy a court order to vacate. The 7th Circuit Court has
order the church to vacate and allow the government to confiscate the church on
April 10, as a result of failure to pay/withhold taxes. The church is not a
501c3 and has not registered as a church or school, but has continued to operate
as a free and independent church and school. The Baptist Temple Church, 19
Judicial District 2711 SE, Indianapolis, has a Sunday attendance of about 1000
and has been in operation of 50 years or more.

4.2. CASE IN POINT # 2: Miracle Valley Bible College & Seminary, Hereford AZ

4.2.1. We have several battles going on at once. In addition to the county
trying to revoke our tax exemption, we have legal problems with water and the
Water Company from across the highway. The county Zoning department is
constantly harassing us about nonconforming use, plus several of the adjoining
property owners have encroached on our land.

4.2.2. The Tax and zoning problem is basically this (at least as I understand
it): The property was originally developed by A. A. Allen, starting in 1958.
After his death it was operated briefly by another man who subsequently
transferred it to Southern Arizona Bible College, with the stipulation that they
operate it for 20 years.

4.2.3. Sometime during the late 60's, a County Zoning Department was formed,
which zoned the Bible College "RU4", which is Rural with no more than one family
per 4 acres of land. They allowed it to continue as "grandfathered", but wanted
Rev. Allen to come down and petition them for re-zoning, which he refused to do.
They still seem to be "Smarting" over this.

4.2.4. When the 20 years was up, in 1995, SABC ceased having formal classes and
the property was put up for sale. They did maintain a small staff, worship
services were continued, the Library was open to the public by appointment,
etc., in an attempt to maintain the "grandfathering".

4.2.5. The county's stand is that since formal classes ended in 1995, that the
tax exemption ended on all but the building in which religious services are
conducted and that back taxes are owed on all the rest of the buildings and 80
acres of land.

4.2.6. They are also trying to force us to apply for rezoning but our feeling is
that if we apply and are refused we could be forced to close. Dr. Harter and
several of us have invested everything in this effort. He has sold or mortgaged
all of his real estate and other holdings, etc. We have all worked without
salaries for over a year. Short of a miracle, we may loose it all.

5. Church Location

5.1. The geographical location of the local church is also key to "control" by
any central authority. This section will present the United Nations concept and
plans relating to establishing absolute control over the local church by
controlling its "future geographical location and/or re-location." This will be
accomplished through the establishment of "human-inhabited islands surrounded by
natural areas." or "sustainable communities" within which "ALL" human activity
will be controlled by the United Nations.

5.2. The question now becomes, what are the plans that will take America from
where it is now into this concept of ""sustainable communities" espoused by the
United Nations? There are several U.N. treaties and conventions designed to
accomplish this objective in America. However in the interest of time and space,
this thesis will briefly address only two of those documents in order to answer
the question of how the U.N. plans to control the local church by controlling
its geographical location.

5.3. A BRIEF EXPLANATION OF THE BIODIVERSITY TREATY AND THE
" WILDLANDS PROJECT"

5.3.1. The Wildlands Project and the UN/US Man and the Biosphere Program (MAB),
are based on the [perceived] need of protecting biological diversity using core
wilderness reserves which are surrounded by buffer zones that variably regulate
human activity to protect the attributes of the core reserves (see below). Areas
not included in core reserves or buffer zones are zones of cooperation where
regulations are designed to favor biodiversity and ecosystems.

5.3.2. The Statutory Framework of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves, The
Seville Agreement for the MAB Program, and the Strategic Plan for the USMAB all
state the MAB Program is designed to help implement the Convention of Biological
Diversity, a treaty currently before the US Senate for ratification. Likewise,
Section 13.4.2.2.3 of the United Nations Global Biodiversity Assessment defines
the Wildlands Project as the basis for preserving biodiversity for the
Convention on Biological Diversity.

5.4. MAGNITUDE OF THE WILDLANDS PROJECT

5.4.1. "Conservation must be practiced on a truly grand scale," claims Reed
Noss. And grand it is. Taken from the article "The Wildlands Project: Land
Conservation Strategy" in the 1992 special issue of Wild Earth, Noss provides
the whopping dimensions of this effort.

5.4.2. Core reserves are wilderness areas that supposedly allow biodiversity to
flourish. "It is estimated," claims Noss, "that large carnivores and ungulates
require reserves on the scale of 2.5 to 25 million acres ... For a minimum
viable population of 1000 [large mammals], the figures would 242 million acres
for grizzly bears, 200 million acres for wolverines, and 100 million acres for
wolves. Core reserves should be managed as roadless areas (wilderness). All
roads should be permanently closed."

5.4.3. Corridors are "extensions of reserves....Multiple corridors
interconnecting a network of core reserves provide functional redundancy and
mitigate against disturbance.... Corridors several miles wide are needed if the
objective is to maintain resident populations of large carnivores."

5.4.4. Buffer zones should have two or more zones so that a gradation of use
intensity exists from the core reserve to the developed landscape.

5.4.5. Inner zones should have low road density and low-intensity use such
as...hiking, cross-country skiing, birding, primitive camping, wilderness
hunting and fishing, and low-intensity silviculture (light selective cutting)."

5.5. WHAT DO RESERVE AND CORRIDORS REALLY MEAN?

5.5.1. While this effort has a noble mission, the implications are staggering.
As noted in the June 25, 1993 issue of Science, it "is nothing less than the
transformation of America to an archipelago of 'human-inhabited islands' or as
referred to in U.N. documents as 'sustainable communities' surrounded by natural
areas."

5.5.2. According to the Wildlands Project, "One half of the land area of the 48
conterminous [united] states be encompassed in core [wilderness] reserves and
inner corridor zones (essentially extensions of core reserves) within the next
few decades .... Half of a region in wilderness is a reasonable guess of what it
will take to restore viable populations of large carnivores and natural
disturbance regimes, assuming that most of the other 50 percent is managed
intelligently as buffer zone." (Noss, 1992) If fully implemented, the Convention
On Biological Diversity would have to displace millions of people through
unacceptable regulations, nationalization of private land, and forcing people to
move out of core reserve areas and inner buffer zones. It would seriously reduce
the production of agriculture, forest, and mining products. In the process,
millions of Americans could lose their jobs. In turn, the resulting scarce
resources means the rest of us are going to pay double and triple for these
products.

5.5.3. This may sound insane, but it's either being planned or implemented right
now all across America. Land is being condemned or zoned in reserves, corridors
or buffer zones under a variety of names to reestablish or protect biodiversity
and/or specific species. Should these quasi-religious theories and
pseudo-science determine our future?

5.5.4. The Convention on Biological Diversity is a sweeping public policy
formulated in response to the perceived threat of biological impoverishment. The
Convention, often called the "Biodiversity Treaty," was adopted in Rio de
Janeiro at the UN Conference on Environment and Development in 1992.
Then-President George Bush refused to sign the treaty, but Bill Clinton, shortly
after he defeated Bush, signed the treaty and sent it to the Senate for
ratification. Al Gore anticipated rapid ratification since the Senate was
controlled by his political party, and began immediately to revise the policies
of the Department of Interior and the Environmental Protection Agency to
implement the provisions of the treaty, despite the fact that the treaty never
came to a vote in the Senate.

5.5.5. Behind the facade of "reinventing government," Gore created a White House
Task Force on Ecosystem Management. The task force oversaw the development of
the Administration's Ecosystem Management Policy which coordinates the activity
of 20 federal agencies toward the implementation of the Convention on Biological
Diversity.

5.5.6. Perhaps the most significant shift in public policy is the shift away
from implementing policies for the benefit of humans; the new Ecosystem
Management Policy is designed to benefit biodiversity -- at the expense of
humans. Federal policy has shifted from anthropocentric to biocentric. The
Environmental Protection Agency's policy says: "EPA must make ecosystem
protection a primary goal of the Agency, on a par with human health...." The
Department of Interior ecosystem management policy statement says: All ecosystem
management activities should consider human beings as a biological resource." In
the Clinton/Gore White House, the paradigm shift has already occurred. Public
policy is being formulated based on the biocentric view that humans have no
value greater than any other life forms.

5.5.7. The policies that have been and are being formulated to prevent
biological impoverishment have much broader implications for the human
community. The ultimate objective is to replace the 50 states with 21
"bioregions" where the human population is relocated into "sustainable
communities" (also referred to as islands of human habitation) that occupy no
more than 25 percent of the land area of North America, while half the land area
is restored to "wilderness," and the remaining 25 percent is managed
collaboratively by the federal government and environmental organizations. This
bizarre plan is met with, at best, skepticism, and most often, with utter
disbelief -- until the documentation is examined. The idea of bioregions
originates in the enlightened minds of people such as Thomas Berry, Dave Foreman
(Earth First! founder), and others. The public policy of bioregions originates
in the Convention on Biological Diversity.

5.5.8. Does the United Nations AND the present U.S. Administration under
President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore really intend to allow this to
take place in America? To answer that question we quote from the United Nations
own published "Statement of Commitment"as follows.

5.5.9. On 19 September 1997, the United Nations issued a 55 page resolution
(A/RES/S-19/2) pertaining to "S/19-2. Programme for the Further Implementation
of Agenda 21," adopted by the General Assembly at its nineteenth special session
(23-28 June 1997). This resolution clearly emphasizes the United Nations
determination to implement all of the provisions contained in Agenda 21. The
following six (6) paragraphs quoted from that resolution clearly establish that
fact.
a.. "I. STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT"
b.. "1. At the nineteenth special session of the United Nations General
Assembly, we - heads of State or Government and other heads of delegations,
together with our partners from international institutions and non-governmental
organizations - have gathered to review progress achieved over the five years
that have passed since the United Nations Conference on Environment and
Development and to re-energize our commitment to further action on goals and
objectives set out by the Earth Summit."
c.. "2. The United Nations Conference on Environment and Development was a
landmark event. At that Conference, we launched a new global partnership for
sustainable development - a partnership that respects the indivisibility of
environmental protection and the development process. It is founded on a global
consensus and political commitment at the highest level. Agenda 21, 1/ adopted
at Rio de Janeiro, addresses the pressing environment and development problems
of today and also aims at preparing the world for the challenges of the next
century in order to attain the long-term goals of sustainable development."
d.. "3. Our focus at this special session has been to accelerate the
implementation of Agenda 21 in a comprehensive manner and not to renegotiate its
provisions or to be selective in its implementation. We reaffirm that Agenda 21
remains the fundamental programme of action for achieving sustainable
development. We reaffirm all the principles contained in the Rio Declaration on
Environment and Development 2/ and the Forest Principles. We are convinced that
the achievement of sustainable development requires the integration of its
economic, environmental and social components. We recommit to working together -
in the spirit of global partnership - to reinforce our joint efforts to meet
equitably the needs of present and future generations."
e.. "4. We acknowledge that a number of positive results have been achieved,
but we are deeply concerned that the overall trends with respect to sustainable
development are worse today than they were in 1992. We emphasize that the
implementation of Agenda 21 in a comprehensive manner remains vitally important
and is more urgent now than ever."
f.. "5. Time is of the essence in meeting the challenges of sustainable
development as set out in the Rio Declaration and Agenda 21. To this end, we
recommit ourselves to the global partnership established at the United Nations
Conference on Environment and Development and to the continuous dialogue and
action inspired by the need to achieve a more efficient and equitable world
economy, as a means to provide a supportive international climate for achieving
environment and development goals. We therefore, pledge to continue to work
together, in good faith and in the spirit of partnership, to accelerate the
implementation of Agenda 21. We invite everyone throughout the world to join us
in our common cause."
g.. "6. We commit ourselves to ensuring that the next comprehensive review of
Agenda 21 in the year 2002 demonstrates greater measurable progress in achieving
sustainable development. The present Programme for the Further Implementation of
Agenda 21 is our vehicle for achieving that goal. We commit ourselves to fully
implementing this Programme."
5.5.10. The U.N. Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) - Rio de
Janeiro, chaired by Maurice Strong produced the Agenda 21 document. Agenda 21,
which consists of many hundreds of pages is in fact, a detailed plan that
affects every aspect of individual human life in America. President Clinton,
deliberately bypassing the will of the people through our elected US Senators
and Representatives, issued Executive Order 12852, creating the President's
Council on Sustainable Development. This Council is charged with the
responsibility of implementing all the provisions of Agenda 21.

5.5.11. While the "U.N. Agenda 21" embraces literally hundreds of aspects
affecting every individual in America, the objective in this thesis is to
examine and expose only those aspects having direct adverse effect on the local
church, by exercising absolute control over its (the local church) geographical
location. As previously noted the "absolute control mechanisms" envisioned by
the U.N. are very cleverly hidden and dispersed among the many U.N. documents
and plans. Any and all of which can be applied individually or collectively as
these various plans are implemented.

5.5.12. The noose around the neck of the local church will be gradually
tightened as the provisions of the "Biodiversity Treaty" are implemented. As the
various core reserves and buffer zones are established and expanded, all human
occupation within these geographical area will be forced to retreat back into
the higher density "sustainable communities." Within the U.N. designed
sustainable community, every aspect of human life is strictly controlled
according to the provisions of Agenda 21. According to the provisions of Agenda
21, the U.N. will determine and control the type, number and locations of all
business and manufacturing activities within the community. The U.N. will
determine the type, capacity and location of each dwelling allowed. The U.N.
will determine the type, capacity and location of all educational facilities.
According to Agenda 21, the U.N. will also determine the type, capacity and
geographical location of all areas designated for common use within each
community.

5.5.13. In other words, there is not a single aspect of human life that the U.N.
does not plan to control. As noted before, especially pertaining to higher level
documents, more often than not, what is "not said" is more important that what
is said. In this case the reader will note the conspicuous absence of a list of
"exceptions" clearly indicating that there "are no exceptions." Clearly the
physical local church is not an exception.

5.5.14. Given that fact, lets put it this way. Ever try putting one gallon of
water into a quart container without losing a large portion of the water. During
the "squeezing" process that will occur as a result of implementing the
provisions of the "Biodiversity Treaty" and "Agenda 21" it does not take a
rocket scientist to figure out that only a few physical local churches will be
allowed to survive the ultimate "squeeze." Just as the gallon of water, some
will fall by the wayside. Put another way ... it's no different that attempting
to squeeze the metropolitan areas of Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio and Houston
into an area no larger that the present metropolitan area of Houston, something
has to fall by the wayside, in this case it will be a large number of physical
local churches.

5.5.15. Side Note: This method of "squeezing" what the U.N. considers to be
undesirable elements out of existence, also applies to large single family homes
presently located on large rural tracks of land. The objective is to "squeeze"
these people back, into multiple family dwellings located in high density
"sustainable communities" thus allowing that large track of land to return to
its pristine condition.

5.5.16. Remember the following statement presented earlier in this thesis.
5.5.17. In the following section, entitled "Church Doctrine (message)" we will
expose how the "few churches" noted in the above statement are being identified
and selected by the United Nations to survive the big "squeeze."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

6. CHURCH DOCTRINE (message)

6.1. In this section we will briefly examine and expose the U.N. objective of
infiltrating the churches and replacing "revealed religion" (Bible based
religion) with "new enlightenment."
a.. Communist Goal #27. "Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion
with social religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for
intellectual maturity which does not need a religious crutch." (Source:
Communist goal # 27, as recorded on Appendix pages A34 and A45 of the US
Congressional Record dated January 10, 1963)
6.2. The U. N. Commission on Global Governance believes that the world is now
ready to accept
a.. "a set of core values that can unite people of all cultural, political,
religious, or philosophical backgrounds. They all derive in one way or another
from the principle, which is in accord with religious teachings around the world
. . . ."
b.. "Central to this set of "core values" is the idea of the sacredness of
earth and all its life forms. The Global Biodiversity Assessment reports that
primitive (indigenous) people who were hunter/gatherers, viewed "themselves as
members of a community that not only includes other humans, but also plants and
animals as well as rocks, springs and pools." Consequently, biological
communities evolved as "sacred sites" which afforded some measure of
protection." (Source: Global Biodiversity Assessment, Op cit.,, Section 12.2.3,
p. 838)
6.3. This perception of the earth as a "sacred" community of life is the core
value which, when fully appreciated by humans, will allow them to embrace the
draconian restrictions proposed by the emerging public policies called for in
the Convention on Biological Diversity, the Convention on Climate Change, and in
other international agreements.

6.4. If children are taught from an early age that the earth is the sacred giver
of life, that all life forms are of equal value, that humans who reject these
ideas are immoral or unethical, then their vision of the earth will be
substantially different from the vision that evolved through the Judeo-Christian
tradition. In fact, Christianity is identified as the culprit most responsible
for the degradation of the planet.
a.. "Societies dominated by Islam, and especially by Christianity, have gone
farthest in setting humans apart from nature and in embracing a value system
that has converted the world into a warehouse of commodities for human
enjoyment. In the process, not only has nature lost its sacred qualities;
conversion to Christianity has meant an abandonment of an affinity with the
natural world for many forest dwellers, peasants, fishers all over the world.
These people followed their own religious traditions which included setting
apart between 10 and 30 percent of the landscape as sacred groves and ponds.
Most of these people were drawn into the larger market economy and converted to
Christianity by the late 1950s. On so converting to a religious belief system
that rejects assignment of sacred qualities to elements of nature, they began to
cut down the sacred groves to bring the land under cultivation, as well as to
market rattan and timber."
6.5. The above sentiment is buried on page 839 of an 1140 document entitled
Global Biodiversity Assessment where very few church-goers are likely to see it.

6.6. Rather than to denounce Christianity publicly, the strategy is to
infiltrate Christian churches and Jewish synagogues and enlist their support to
enact laws and regulations to ostensibly "protect the environment," but which
will in actuality coercively modify the behavior of individuals to conform to
the belief system described by Thomas Berry, James Parks Morton, and other
instigators of the NRPE.

6.7. Behavior modification is the goal, not just for Christians and Jews, but
for the entire human race. In his book, Earth in the Balance, Al Gore
articulates both the principle and the means:
a.. "I have come to believe that we must take bold and unequivocal action: we
must make the rescue of the environment the central organizing principle for
civilization. Adopting a central organizing principle -- one agreed to
voluntarily -- means embarking on an all-out effort to use every policy and
program, every law and institution, every treaty and alliance, every tactic and
strategy, every plan and course of action -- to use, in short, every means to
halt the destruction of the environment and to preserve and nurture our
ecological system."
6.8. The National Religious Partnership for the Environment (NRPE) has been
providing "education and activity" kits to 67,300 American congregations that
minister to more than 100 million members. The "education" contained in these
kits flows from an "enlightenment" empowered by a belief in gaia as the giver of
all life. The "activity" encouraged in these kits is political activity in
support of legislation and regulations that will force individuals to modify
behavior to comply with the tenets of gaia worship.

6.9. Few of the 100 million congregants who are being influenced by the NRPE
have any idea of the massive agenda behind the "action alerts" to which they
respond. Indeed, most of the pastors, priests, and rabbis who respond to the
NRPE have no idea that they are being used to advance a global governance
agenda. Most sincerely believe that they are taking responsible action to help
protect the environment. Until the evidence is reviewed, there is no way that
the average church-goer could possibly realize the sinister objectives of those
who have organized the program. The organizers -- James Parks Morton, James
Lovelock, Robert Muller, Al Gore, Timothy Wirth, and many, many others -- have
been "enlightened" through their biocentric belief in gaia, and, therefore, they
know what is best for the planet. They also know that the only way to protect
the sacred gaia, is to control the people who are degrading her. The only way to
control the people is through an omnipotent government which is, at this moment,
consolidating its power into an ever-growing bureaucracy, now stretching around
the globe, extending its tentacles into every corner of human life, creating de
facto global governance. The National Religious Partnership for the Environment
has reached into 67,300 churches and is drawing those congregations into its
lair.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7. A BROADER AGENDA

7.1. The Clinton/Gore agenda is but a small part of a much broader global agenda
being advanced by the NRPE. The 230 organizations that participate in the
Evangelical Environmental Network are hardly one battalion in the army of
foot-soldiers marching in the parade toward a global green gaia-religion which
seeks to swallow up all the world's religions into a single, unified "earth
ethic" administered and enforced through global governance.

7.2. Such a notion is incomprehensible to Christians, especially those who feel
the need to protect the environment, and those who are caught up in the appeal
of the NRPE. Examination of the ideas of those who brought the NRPE into
existence, however, reveals how each program of the Evangelical Environmental
Network is but another step toward the inevitable objective pursued by the
organizers of the NRPE.

7.3. Nature is my God . . . . Meet Dr. Robert Muller, a member of the Board of
Advisors to the Temple of Understanding, a former Assistant Secretary-General to
three UN Secretary-Generals, Chancellor of the UN University, author of the
World Core Curriculum, and founder of the Robert Muller Schools. Muller
described his religious views to an audience in Costa Rica in 1989:
a.. "We thought at the time that the sun was turning around the earth until we
learned from Copernicus that it was not true. Now we're learning that perhaps
this planet has not been created for humans, but that humans have been created
for the planet. We hear now of the Gaia hypothesis, of the interdependence of
all inert and living matter, that we are part and parcel of a living planetary
organism. We are temporary living manifestations or incarnations of this Earth.
We are living Earth. Each of us is a cell, a perceptive nervous unit of the
Earth. The living consciousness of the Earth is beginning to operate through us.
You as cosmic and earth cells are part of a vast biological and evolutionary
phenomenon which is of first importance at this stage, namely humanity as a
whole; the whole human species has become the brain, the heart, the soul, the
expression and the action of the Earth. We have now a world brain which
determines what can be dangerous or mortal for the planet: the United Nations
and its agencies, and innumerable [sic] groups and networks around the world,
are part of the brain. This is our newly discovered meaning . . . we are a
global family living in a global home. We are in the process of becoming a
global civilization. I hope that religious leaders will get together and define
before the end of this century the cosmic laws which are common to all their
faiths. The third millennium should be a spiritual millennium, a millennium
which will see the integration and harmony of humanity with creation, with
nature, with the planet, with the cosmos and with eternity."
7.4. Muller's vision is a little more than can be digested in a single bite. But
it succinctly expresses the world view that underlies the NRPE agenda as well as
the policy agenda of the United Nations. Mikhail Gorbachev is an advocate of
Muller's world view. As recently as October 23, 1996, Gorbachev appeared on the
popular Charlie Rose PBS television program where he said:
a.. We are part of the Cosmos . . . . Cosmos is my God. Nature is my God . . .
. I believe that the 21st century will be the century of the environment, the
century when all of us will have to find an answer to how to harmonize relations
between man and the rest of Nature . . . . We are part of Nature . . . ."
7.5. Both Muller's and Gorbachev's world view are an outgrowth of James
Lovelock's gaia hypothesis and Thomas Berry's theological interpretations.
Thomas Berry is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Temple of
Understanding. The Florida Catholic describes Berry as " . . . perhaps the
leading figure in the movement to preserve the environment."28 Berry believes
that the world is being called to a new "post-denominational," even a
post-Christian belief system that sees the earth as a living being --
mythologically, as Gaia, Mother Earth -- with mankind as her consciousness.

7.6. It is difficult to grasp Berry's theology, or more properly described --
cosmolatry. He believes the world is experiencing a new enlightenment of a
greater magnitude than Copernicus' discovery that the earth actually revolved
around the sun. He believes that the traditional Christian view of an external
God who created man in His image is as wrong as the pre-Copernican view of the
sun revolving around the earth. He is convinced that the earth itself is the
life-giver, and that humans have no special place in the universal community of
life which is, collectively, the manifestation of the divine.

7.7. This enlightenment is described by Brian Swimme, in his introduction to
Berry's book, The dream of the Earth, by comparing Berry's vision of cosmolatry
to the moment in time when physical vision was experienced for the first time in
evolutionary history. Berry himself says:
a.. "It has taken the entire course of some fourteen billion years for the
universe, the earth, and all its living creatures to attain this mode of
presence to itself through our empirical modes of knowing. One of the finest
moments in our new sensitivity to the natural world is our discovery of the
earth as a living organism . . . awareness that the entire planet is a single
organic reality that needs to be addressed in its spirit and person qualities as
well as in its physical aspects."
7.8. Berry is also convinced that:
a.. "This reenchantment with the earth as a living reality is the condition
for our rescue of the earth from the impending destruction that we are imposing
upon it. To carry this out effectively, we must now, in a sense, reinvent the
human as species within the community of life species. Our sense of reality and
of value must consciously shift from an anthropocentric to a biocentric norm of
reference."
7.9. This conscious shift from an "anthropocentric" world view, to a
"biocentric" world view is alleged to be the most significant paradigm shift
since monotheism overwhelmed pantheism four thousand years ago. Advocates
believe that the shift is well under way.

7.10. Thomas Berry had a profound influence upon the Very Reverend James Parks
Morton, President of the Temple of Understanding, Dean of the Cathedral of St.
John the Divine, co-chair of the Global Forum for Spiritual and Parliamentary
Leaders, and a member of the Board of Directors of the NRPE.
a.. "Morton shares Berry's belief that an ecological interpretation of the
cosmos requires a corresponding re-interpretation of the story of creation. æThe
new scientific evidence about the origins of life made me realize that we could
no longer deal with the human story as something apart from the life story, or
the earth story, or the universe story,' says Morton."
7.11. From his Cathedral of St. John the Divine located at 1047 Amsterdam Avenue
in New York City, the seat of a bishop in the Anglican Church, one of the
largest religious denominations in the world, James Parks Morton is translating
Berry's cosmology into specific programs, rituals, and institutions. The NRPE is
but one. The Cathedral of St. John the Divine is also home to the Gaia
Institute, "whose mission is to explore the practical implications of James
Lovelock's Gaia Hypothesis," directed by Paul and Julie Mankiewicz.33 It is the
home of the Lindisfarne fellowship, a membership organization of influential
world leaders who subscribe to Berry's cosmology. Maurice Strong is a member and
a frequent speaker at the Cathedral. Strong was the Secretary-General of both
Earth Summit I and II, and was the first Director of the United Nations
Environment Program (UNEP). The Cathedral also provides a home for celebrating
the Feast of St. Francis. This special ritual not only mirrors this most unusual
church but also epitomizes the cosmolatry of Thomas Berry. In the words of
William Bryant Logan, editor of the Cathedral's newsletter:
a.. "I saw children lying in the laps of large dogs and a boy bringing his
stuffed animals to be blessed. I saw the not-yet famous elephant and camel march
up the aisle; a lawyer who scoops the poop and enjoys being clown-for-a-day; a
priest who finds himself covered with wriggling ferrets; a man and a woman who
meet when their leashes become enmeshed; a volunteer gardener marching to the
altar with a bowl full of compost and worms; a sermon by Al Gore, in which he
called on the congregants to recognize that God is not separate from the Earth."
7.12. The ritual is not limited to the New York Cathedral. The Episcopal Diocese
of Kansas and the Stewardship Office of the Episcopal Church sponsored a
celebration of Earth Day in April, 1995 that featured, among others, James Parks
Morton, Thomas Berry, and Paul Winter, official musician of the Cathedral of St.
John the Divine. Samantha Smith, author of The Trojan Horse and Goddess Earth,
attended the affair and offered the following report:
a.. "The gathering, held at the Westin Crown Center Hotel, included a North
American Native Indian praying to God, then praying to the Grandfather Spirit
and to spirits of the Four Directions to bless the earth and oversee the
conference. California Senator, Tom Hayden, offered an Earth Day prayer,
claiming the earth was speaking through him:
b.. On this Earth Day let us say an earth prayer and make an earth pledge. In
the Bible ruah means both wind and spirit, so let us take time to breathe with
the universe, connect with the earth and remember what we need to know and do.
Celebrate that ancient spirits are born again in us, spirits of eagle vision, of
coyote craft, of bear stewardship, of buffalo wisdom, of ancient goddesses, of
druids, of native people, of Thoreau and Sitting Bull -- born again and over
again in John Muir and Rachel Carson and David Brower and Alice Walker. He then
asked us to `commit ourselves to carry the written word of Al Gore into official
deeds.' Thomas Berry offered a prayer for the healing of the earth."
c.. Paul Winter then entertained with his saxophone. He explained that he had
gone into the Superior Forest and taped exchanges of howls between his saxophone
and a wolf. With his sax, he demonstrated the sound. He then asked the audience
to join him in a Howl-le-lu-ia Chorus." He made a wolf sound, and nearly 200
people howled back, expressing their oneness with the wolf.
7.13. This is the "new enlightenment theology", or cosmology, which underlies
the NRPE. These ideas are those of the people who conceived the NRPE, and these
are the people who are creating the material that is being delivered to 67,300
churches in America.

7.14. Those churches that succumb to this "new enlightenment theology" will be
the "few" that will be allowed to survive the "big squeeze". Those who maintain
their steadfastness in God given, Bible based religion will, like most of the
water from the gallon jug into the quart container, fall by the wayside if the
United Nations is allowed to have its way.
