BILL OF RIGHTS RALLY 6/22/02 IN DENVER

Rick Stanley, U.S. Senate Candidate and Libertarian Nominee, Activist/Organizer of the National Bill of Rights rallies, Activist/Organizer of the Million Gun March Petition, and Activist/Organizer of the Patriot Files, made the following announcement to the media today:

The June 22, 2002, Bill of Rights rally for Denver will be held at high noon, west of the state capitol steps, and across the street at the Pyramid, at Veterans Park. In addition to Rick Stanley, U. S. House Candidate for Colorado Springs Biff Baker will speak. Other speakers include Dave Bryant, Doug Newman and Duncan Philp. The Northern Colorado Drum and Fife Corps will be entertaining the rally with patriotic tunes from the early days of our country.

The Bill of Rights rallies across America started on December 15, 2001, with the arrest of Rick Stanley, whose act of civil disobedience, to protest the unconstitutional Denver ordinance which doesn’t allow Denver citizens the right to have a weapon, was demonstrated by putting a loaded pistol in a holster, in plain sight on his hip, resulting in his arrest, conviction and appeal, to have this ordinance overturned because of the 2nd Amendment infringement charges against Stanley, and the citizens of Denver.

The Bill of Rights rallies are now observed once a month in 17 states across America, demanding the repeal of all unconstitutional laws at all levels of government. The Million Gun March Petition at www.stanley2002.org will be the culmination of the BOR rallies on July 4, 2003, across America, and in Washington D.C., with armed and unarmed marchers demanding their petition rights to be heard by the U.S. government. The U.S. government has been notified by the faxed and mailed petition, and as of June 20, 2002, there are 513 signers that Stanley calls, "Patriots."
