Felons Can Vote

Rick Stanley, U.S. Senate candidate, activist/organizer of the national Bill of Rights rallies, activist/organizer of the Million Gun March Petition, and activist/organizer of the Patriot Files, made the following announcement to the media:

Felons in America and Colorado have the right to vote. When a felon’s term is completed, he has all the voting rights accorded any citizen. The Constitution says so. So, why do the media and government try and misinform the public to the contrary? Is it because they don’t want a felon to poison the voter pool? Is it because they are trying to influence voter outcome?

Vote fraud by the government, and unscientific polls used to influence citizens, are becoming a major problem in this country. What is the government doing, trying to manipulate any voting in this country? By what right does anyone in government act in this manner?

Let’s return to the felons voting issue. Amendment 15 of the Constitution guarantees the following:

Section 1. The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall NOT be denied or abridged by the United States or by ANY STATE on account of race, color or previous condition of SERVITUDE.

Section 2. The Congress shall have power to ENFORCE this article by appropriate legislation.

My question is this: Why is the government telling felons, and the media, that they can’t vote? My DEMAND to the government is ENFORCE the Constitution on yourselves, or incur the wrath of “we the people”, who grow impatient of your unconstitutional actions.
