RELEASE May 7, 2002 NEWS RELEASE Stanley for U.S. Senate
============================================================ Government Plot to Push Domestic Terrorism Rick Stanley, U.S. Senate candidate, activist/organizer of the national Bill of Rights rallies, activist/organizer of the Million Gun March Petition, and activist/organizer of the Patriot Files, made the following announcement to the media: The last few days, the government has been discovering booby-trapped pipe bombs in mail boxes. The perpetrator of this plot has written letters that are disjointed, and the work of someone that is not well spoken in patriot causes. Patriots are generally well read, intellectual people who write very well. It would be just like the government to plant bombs and ridiculous notes all across the Midwest to help further their domestic terrorist drive. We are not buying it. The American people are NOT buying into it. The misinformation, the lies, the corruption, and the fraud perpetuated against the American people, to further the power grab by the tyranny of this sitting government for a total police state must stop. Would the government do this? Look at the past. The Pearl Harbor scandal. The Vietnam, Gulf of Tonkin scandal. The FBI failure to investigate students at airline pilot schools that wanted to learn how to fly, but not land, or take off. An FBI agent admitted that his supervisors waved off all of the agents, and 9-11 occurred 30 days later. Just one more scandal, by government. The USA Patriot act
violates eight articles of the Bill of Rights in the
Constitution, and does nothing to prevent terrorism.
America, we will protect you by taking all of your rights
away? No thanks. This government does not have the right,
to use emergency powers, to take away any rights of our
citizens that are guaranteed by The government has agents in all of the states where bombs have been set up. Patriot groups are small, local entities made up of people that respect this country and the Constitution, unlike the government. Violate the Constitution? Hell, they do it every day. Like popping pills, the government is hooked. ##30## Rick Stanley is currently seeking the Libertarian Party of Colorado's nomination in May as their U.S. Senate candidate in this year's election.
