Stanley's Grocery Store Campaign

(DENVER CO) Rick Stanley, U.S. Senate Candidate for the Libertarian Party, made the following announcement to the media:

My wife and I went to the Smithsonian American Museum in Washington, D.C. on February 29, 2002, and learned that in the early 1900s’, presidential and senate candidates conducted campaigns on the front porch of their homes and hundreds of people came to chat. My wife and I have been doing a new type of campaigning I call, “Grocery Cart Campaigning.” While we shop for groceries, we hand out flyers regarding my campaign and anyone that wants to chat about it, we do. A great way to meet people and a great way to show Americans what my campaign is all about.
