Stanley to Join Denver Copwatch Memorial Procession

(DENVER CO) Rick Stanley, U.S. Senate Candidate for the Libertarian Party, made the following announcement to the media:

I will be attending a DENVER COPWATCH sponsored Memorial Procession for the victims of wrongful death at the hands of the Denver Police.  I have previously sent out two media releases since December, calling out for a grand jury investigation of these tragedies to no avail.  Not enough Columbine in it, I suppose.  Death by cop, is still death.

Join us in remembering those who have died senselessly while the authorities do nothing.

The memorial procession will be on Friday, 6:30PM, on March 15th, 2002, meeting at Market and 16th Street Mall. We will solemnly proceed up the 16th Street Mall to California.  The circumstances of these needless deaths will be recounted.  We demand real police accountability in Denver.  No more deaths, no more lies.  Wear black in respect for the victims.
