Third Bill of Rights Rally and Trial of U.S. Government in D.C.

(DENVER CO) Rick Stanley, U.S. Senate Candidate for the Libertarian Party, today made the following statement:

Our third Bill of rights Rally in as many months will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2002 at high noon - 12pm in Denver at Lincoln Park and the West steps of the state capitol. The purpose of the rally is to demand the repeal of all unconstitutional laws at all levels of government in the United States.We have another 10 states on board doing rallies. This is up from two last month on January 19th, when Colorado and New Hampshire had Bill of Rights rallies at their respective state capitols. Eight other state groups are joining with rallies. See my website at www.stanley2002.org. In Denver, we will have speakers including myself, and the focus will be on the unconstitutional and illegal income tax. The public and media are invited to participate.

We are announcing today, the partnership with the "We The People Foundation For Constitutional Education, Inc." based in Queensbury, New York, to join forces with many other liberty groups across the country. We have petitioned for redress of grievances with the federal government relating to the federal power to tax.

I will be in Washington, D.C. for the February 27-28th trial of the U.S. government to be held at the Washington Marriott, 1221 22nd St., Washington, D.C. from 9:00am to 5:00pm each day in the main ballroom of the hotel.

On July 20, 2001, the Department of Justice and IRS formally agreed to appear in public and answer under oath specific legal questions concerning the jurisdiction of the IRS, the unlawful enforcement of U.S. income tax laws against citizens and the widespread abuse of constitutionally protected rights in the daily operations of the income tax system.

If required, the government will be tried in abstentia.

We The People will put the personal income tax system on trial at this recorded, public hearing. If officials of the Department of Justice and the Internal Revenue Service do not appear at the hearing to publicly answer our questions, we will present conclusive evidence supporting our claims regarding the fraudulent origin of the IRS and unlawful administration and enforcement of the income tax system against American citizens. We will record the hearing and broadcast the proceedings in a nationwide live web broadcast. For more info on this, visit the website - http://www.givemeliberty.org/.

We The People, will also present formal legal claims against those specific government officials in abstentia who have conspired to deceive and defraud the American people, and intentionally deny our unalienable rights guaranteed by the First, Fourth, Fifth and Thirteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution."
