Rick Stanley, U.S. Senate Candidate, Libertarian Party Nominee, Activist/Organizer of the National Bill of Rights Rallies, Activist/Organizer of the Million Gun March Petition, and Activist/Organizer of the Patriot Files made the following endorsement to the media:

News Release
The best kept secret in Congress is a proposed bill, the National Economic Stabilization And Recovery Act known as NESARA. This proposed legislation, which has been available to Congress for 12 years but never publicly announced or discussed by them, would immediately reduce the national debt by $2 Trillion and provide thousands of dollars each year to every American family.

NESARA abolishes the intrusive, hateful, unconstitutional Income Tax, replacing it with a simple National Sales Tax collected only on retail sales. Twenty categories of exemptions, including such items as groceries, rents or leases of real estate, prescription drugs and medical services, insurance, Government mandated expenses such as licenses, permits and passports, and the segregated portions of labor in service contracts, make this sales tax a truly progressive tax for working Americans. Abolishing the income tax and excluding most of the necessities of life from the new National Sales Tax will provide a noticeable increase in the standard of living for American families.

NESARA also abolishes the privately owned Federal Reserve System, replacing it with a new U.S. Treasury Reserve System under the U.S. Treasury Department structured to work for the benefit of all Americans and not just rich institutions. Banking laws are changed prohibiting compound interest on secured loans such as home mortgages and small business loans. Principal must be repaid on all secured loans obtained from banks operating on a fractional reserve basis before the bank can collect its monetization fees. This new rule will apply to all existing mortgages. As an example, an existing 30 year $100,000 home loan at 6.5% will pay out 10 years early and save the homeowner over $75,000.

Congress seems unable to even identify national problems, much less enact practical solutions. Their mismanagement of the national economy and Homeland Security resulted in an economic downturn in excess of $1 Trillion in just the past year. The stock market is in the toilet and millions of small investors watched helplessly as their retirement funds evaporated. Congress no longer talks about budget surpluses or the Social Security Lock Box. They spent that money and just recently voted to increase the National Debt Limit, piling more debt upon our children and our children's children.

I may be known politically as an obnoxious loud-mouth because of my complaints about wrongheaded government policies, but I am also a man who knows that the right to complain comes with an obligation to be able to do better. I was sorely disappointed to learn that, in NESARA, Congress has had a practical solution to a host of America's troubles for more than 12 years, a solution they have refused to even discuss. When elected, as the only freethinking Senator in the Congress, I can't promise that NESARA will be passed. But I can absolutely guarantee that upon my election Congress will be talking about the tough issues.

You can check my web site www.stanley2002.org for more information, or go directly to the NESARA Institute web site at www.nesara.org to read the bill that Congress obviously doesn't want you to know about. You may be amazed to find that it is written in simple English that anyone can understand and not in the usual legalese code used by the lawyer-politicians in Washington.

My opponents in this race have no concrete, practical plan to improve the lives of ordinary people and so are spending their time throwing mud at each other. Both have an ample supply. I intend to talk about the important issues addressed in NESARA. Simplifying the federal government not only reduces its cost, it makes government more transparent and exposes the legalized theft going on in Washington. That continued theft will die in the light of day and the hoards of rodents feeding at the public trough will quickly abandon the nation's capital providing a chance for honest citizens to run for public office.
