August 1, 2004 Dear Governor Owens, The purpose of this letter is to show my absolute support for Mr. Rick Stanley, a Colorado resident. I have been closely observing the onslaught against Mr. Stanley for the last couple of years and find the crimes being committed against him to be reprehensible and a disgrace not only to the state of Colorado, but also to the nation. What goes for Rick Stanley may very well be applied to every other American citizen, if the Stanley debacle becomes our collective reality. I am an independent journalist in Pennsylvania and have written quite a few articles pertaining to the U.S. Constitution - and Mr. Stanley - over the last few years. It is my understanding that the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution applies to ALL citizens in America as our founding fathers intended. This has been validated by John Ashcroft, so I see no need to debate this point with anyone, including yourself. I find it incredible that not one member of the Colorado legislature has taken issue with the crimes being committed against Mr.Stanley, an upstanding citizen of your fine state and a solid, respectable, law-abiding individual who dared to commit the unconscionable crime of defending the Supreme Law of the Land, which we all know supersedes the Constitution of the State of Colorado or any local ordinances that come into conflict with it. I am at a loss as to why not one person within the Colorado legislature has risen to defend Stanley’s civil rights. Can you possibly explain this? There are countless numbers of American citizens watching this debacle unfold and I must tell you, Sir – your Colorado judiciary and law enforcement agencies are making you all look like complete asses. I know others have written to you about this matter on behalf of Rick Stanley and his family and as of this writing, I have not seen any response from your offices. Is there some reason you are not responding to this matter? I would also like you to be aware that as an American citizen, I take this very seriously and very personally. As an independent journalist, one who is free to write and tell the truth about government crime and corruption, I am more than willing to lay this whole entire Denver/Brighton/Adams County fiasco on the line with those who watch my political talk show online at WING TV, located at http://www.wingtv.net - as well as continue writing about Mr. Stanley’s situation in our magazine. You see, I am not confined to repetiitive fabrication/lies/distortions/cover-ups in comparison to my mainstream media counterparts. They are shackled and controlled. I am not, therefore, I am free to tell the truth, which I most certainly will do - partiucularly in this matter. Incidentally, my previous articles about Stanley have circled the internet widely and can be found on a multitude of websites. I have no problem whatsoever with exposing the deliberate, diabolical machinations of your law enforcement agents OR completely moronic judges who cross ethical, legal and moral lines. For the life of me, I cannot comprehend why you would allow this fiasco to continue on your watch. Don’t you realize that these violations against Stanley reflect squarely upon you? If it is now a crime to stand tall and defend the Supreme Law of the Land as Rick Stanley has done so fearlessly, then you may label me a criminal as well. If it is now illegal to defend a guaranteed RIGHT which is supposed to apply to all of us – me, YOU, Rick Stanley and every other citizen, then I too, will be breaking that law. If it has come to pass that government officials can now blatantly play God with our lives, as has been evidenced by the atrocious mistreatment of Mr.Stanley - if those in positions of power can abuse this power in such a malevolent, shameful and obscene manner as to destroy our livelihoods, publicly humiliate us,and unjustly imprison us absent of the commission of any crime, then not only do I denounce such a government, but I denounce you, your disgusting judges in the diseased-dumpsters they label "courtrooms", the despicable thugs posing as law enforcement agents in this case, and all those perpetrating these crimes against this man. Those involved in this obvious wrongdoing work for YOU and represent a malignancy that will ultimately have to be confronted, sooner or later. If you refuse to address it now, it will only metastasize.. I strongly suggest you confront it NOW and save face. It has also come to my attention that one of the judges in Rick Stanley’s case is not even a resident of the county and that his oath is expired. Sir, if this is correct, then how can YOU, in good conscience even consider allowing this judge to even PRESIDE over ANY case? As an American, I am deeply concerned about what is happening to Rick Stanley. I have met and spoken with him personally. I consider him to be one of the last, true Patriots in this nation. Instead of being penalized for defending his rights, he should he given a medal. He has not asked me to write this letter, OR to do anything on his behalf in any way - but you see, he didn’t have to. The reason I took the liberty of writing you is because the decisions made regarding this man will cast a very long, deep shadow. And they will impact us all, including yourself. I ask you to consult your conscience in this matter, assuming you posses one – and act accordingly with the LAW. It is quite obvious that many persons who hold positions of “authority” within your state do not hold any respect for the prevailing LAW. Rick Stanley, in case you aren’t aware, has become something of a legend all over the country. Americans everywhere are watching and taking note and they will remember what happens to him when all is said and done. Please consider this very seriously and remember it because it is important. One more thing – I want you to realize that if it takes the rest of my days, until I draw my last breath, I will do whatever it takes to publicly expose the infestation swarming within your de facto court system. I will shed even more light upon their refusals to recognize the rights of American citizens. I will reveal to wider and wider circles – on a daily basis – the level of corruption associated with your illegal set-up. Every single law-breaking worm involved in this case will also be exposed for their utter disregard and disrespect of law abiding citizens AND the Supreme Law of the Land. I'm sure you must recall what THAT is, Sir. Your judges must not be allowed to continue spitting in the face of the U.S. Constitution. And I add to this, that if you do not intervene on behalf of Rick Stanley, these crimes will NOT be allowed to continue unchecked. From here on in, consider yourselves under the microscopic scrutiny of your fellow Americans, because you are. Rick Stanley is the living, breathing, pure definition of the word PATRIOT. What happens to him will ripple outward and touch us all. I will not allow the destruction and shattering of his life to be swept under any rug - anywhere. Others will and have firmly backed me up in this position. This, I vow to you, Sir. Rick Stanley will not stand alone. It is my hope that you will closely examine the details in this particular case regarding Mr.Stanley and do all that is within the scope of your power to bring this matter to an equitable conclusion in an expedient manner. Translated, this means DO YOUR JOB as a PUBLIC “SERVANT”. The eyes of the nation are watching you all, Governor. Perhaps it is high time for you to step in and advise the appropriate government individuals in this case of their responsibilities, as defined by LAW. They obviously do not remember what those responsibilities are or how to correctly interpret (or enact) those responsibilities. Maybe they are ill-advised of the LAW itself. I'm talking about the SUPREME LAW, Sir - the one that is not allowed admission into your Colorado courtrooms. Or is it something else entirely? Is it perhaps that Colorado's rabid judiciary and arrogant bullying law enforcement agents simply don't give a damn about blatantly violating the rights of American citizens they are charged to serve and protect? This is the common, increasing perception of other American citizens throughout the land when they examine this debacle. Remember this, Governor: everything we do matters and everything counts. Every man is responsible for every other man. Please do the right thing for Rick Stanley - and for all American citizens. There are so many to be ashamed of within our government today. Please don't add your name to the long list. Hold yourself and those charged to preserve and protect to a much higher standard. Step up to the plate and swing. America is watching and waiting.
