The reports in the old mass media about Irwin Schiff and Larken Rose
are old, moldy government press releases rehashed to satisfy the
calendar and the government that pays their wages. They are as
inaccurate as their reports of Iraqi troop movements on the Saudi
border before the illegal invasion. The old mass media would be
burning witches today if government gave them the nod.
Their misinformation cannot be allowed to stand uncorrected.
Irwin Schiff's goal is not to prove that the federal personal income
tax law is invalid or unconstitutional. He learned that the law
as written is not being enforced.
Larken Rose also learned that the law as written is not being enforced,
although his focus is on a different section of Title 16.
Neither Irwin Schiff nor Larken Rose ever claimed that the income tax
is unconstitutional. No one in the tax honesty movement is selling a
"secret scheme to avoid paying income taxes." The information they
acquired from years of study is available to the general public at no
cost. It's all part of the public record, in federal statues, federal
regulations, Supreme Court decisions, and the US Constitution. The
relevant parts are available in Irwin's books and Larken's reports and
videos at prices that rewards them appropriately for the money, time,
effort, and talents applied to their research, compilations, and
publications. All of their transactions with the general public have
been
voluntary and honest.
It's important to note that no member of the federal government has
ever disputed the specific claims made by Irwin Schiff, Larken Rose,
Bob Schulz, Dave Champion, Ken Evans, Sherry Peel Jackson (ex-IRS
agent), Joe Banister (ex-IRS CID officer), or John Turner (ex-IRS
agent), to name but a few of the brave souls in the tax honesty
movement. On the contrary: The federal government has remained silent
and vindictive, preferring instead to evade questions, terrorize and
prosecute innocent people, suppress evidence, and circumvent the law.
This is not a matter of opinion; the government's behavior is
well-documented. Now it's reference material.
